Session 1 – January 11th 2022
Dr Kimmo Soramäki
Kimmo Soramäki, CEO and founder at FNA, will be joining host Will Towning for the first in this webinar series.
In this first session, Kimmo will be explaining how central banks, commercial banks and other organisations can use simulation technology to understand the impacts of introducing a CBDC.
Kimmo has been working with central banks for over 25 years. This work led him to found FNA in 2013 to solve important issues around financial risk and explore the complex financial networks that play a continually larger role in the world around us. Kimmo recently co-authored the paper ‘Agent-based Simulation of CBDCs’, introducing FNA’s CBDC Simulation Model.
