Ivan Mortimer-Schutts

Advisor, SIMBAS

Mr. Mortimer-Schutts is a financial, digital and data sector development and policy expert. Formerly at the World Bank Group, based in Asia for nearly 12 years he has advised private companies, financial services authorities and industry organizations on financial and digital sector innovation and investments. He previously held positions with BNP Paribas in emerging markets business development and securities regulation at a joint Science-Po and AEI-Brooking think tank on trade and regulatory policy, as well as with financial securities intermediaries in Europe.Ivan is a graduate of the London School of Economics, Science Po (Paris) and the UWC of the Atlantic.

 

David Rennie

Digital Identity & Data Assurance Specialist at IDEMIA & DPF Privacy & Identity Working Group Lead)

David Rennie leads the Digital Pound Foundation’s Identity and Privacy Working Group. Previously a payments consultant David has spent the last 18 years working close to the UK’s oscillating debate on identity through the Identity Card Programme, James Crosby’s independent review, the Privacy and Consumer Advisory Group, the Open Identity Exchange and GOV.UK Verify. David worked for the UK government from 2005 – 2018 before joining IDEMIA.
