Our Commitment to Sustainability

As part of our commitment to society, the people and the environment, FNA completes a thorough assessment of its business sustainability practices every year through EcoVadis, the global standard for business sustainability ratings. The EcoVadis assessment includes 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

UN Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is a voluntary initiative established in 2000, which serves as a platform for promoting responsible business practices and sustainable development goals through collaborative efforts.

Why is FNA aligning efforts with the framework of the UNGC?

  • Accessibility: The UNGC is designed to be accessible to companies of all sizes.

  • Flexibility: The UNGC allows a company like FNA to focus on the issues that are most material to our business and stakeholders.

  • Alignment with both the Corporate Sustainability Reporting directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS): While many frameworks can contribute to meeting CSRD and ESRS, the UNGC SDG’s are well documented and aligned to both.

  • Broader Scope: The UNGC’s Ten Principles cover a wider range of ESG issues than the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) or Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), including human rights, labour standards.
